Electric Vehicle (EV) Services

J. A. Lee is at the forefront of building out America’s electric vehicle (EV) infrastructure. Since 2015, we have assisted with the design and installation for hundreds of car, bus and delivery truck chargers.

We have worked with most major manufacturers, including Tesla, Proterra, New Flyer of America and more. We have installed hundreds of Level 2 (L2) chargers and DC Fast Chargers (DCFC).

As a full service provider, J. A. Lee will obtain all required permits, assist with the design, install the EV charger(s), including working with the local power utility company, assist with commissioning and testing, and close out the permits.

In qualifying areas, we also coordinate with the local power/utility company for our clients to maximize the incentive funding available to help pay for the project. We help New York area customers qualify for funding through Con Edison’s PowerReady Program and National Grid’s Make Ready Program. These programs pay for a substantial portion of the site’s electrical upgrade for both L2 and DCFC chargers.
